Meet the team

The crew

A small, independent team. The people you meet are the people who film your day and cut your movie. Nobody gets handed off.

Founder

Nick Aivazian

I found myself with a camera in my hands after sneaking the family camcorder out of my father’s dresser drawer. I’d make comedy sketches and “premiere” them for my (very patient) family. That planted the seed for a lifelong passion: telling the stories people want told.

My career began with wedding films. The intimacy and fleeting nature of these moments are what make them such a joy to capture.

Head Cinematographer

Owen Bolas

I bring the same passion to filmmaking as I do to the kitchen. I’m an avid home chef, regularly whipping up homemade meals for myself and my better half, Sydney. I worked as a sound technician before finding my home behind the camera at Sequoia.
